Creative Design

Call me a romantic but I believe there is something truly remarkable in finding a way to bring the good out of an object that has been discarded and deemed unusable. Whether you call it DIY, up-cycling or repurposing, I tend to think of it as a noble art rooted in the Southern philosophy that good bone structure is not to be underestimated.

Let me help you reimagine your tired furniture, home decor or found items. My previous projects have included transforming a $10 thrifted desk into a chic sideboard with wine rack and cookbook storage, a trashed sewing bench and headboard into a garden bar and potter’s bench and a charming holiday wreath made from inexpensive cupcake liners. My creative design services include:

  • Creative projects for editorial features with trash-to-treasure, flea market decor, unique gifts, DIY and found object themes
  • Transforming tired furniture, home/office decor or found objects
  • One-of-a-kind gift wrap or favors for events and company gifts
